Vijay Singh capped an impressive weekend of golf with a 69 (-2) for a 72-hole total of 16-under 268 and captured the second annual Deutsche Bank Championship title by three shots over Tiger Woods and defending champion Adam Scott at TPC of Boston on Labor Day. For his sixth win of the year, Singh collected the $900,000 first-place check, and assumed the World's No. 1 Golf Ranking from Woods, who held it for the last five years. Scott charged hard up the leaderboard on Monday with a final round of 6-under-par 65 to tie Woods at 271 (-13).
