Did You Know? - A Summary of Things You Might Not Know About IMG's Global Activities

IMG Fashion is delighted to welcome back model Stephanie Seymour as an exclusive client.  Stephanie is one of the top models in the world, having appeared on hundreds of magazine covers.  She has represented some of the top companies in the world including Chanel, Versace, and L'Oreal.  Recently, she has appeared on a television program as a spokesperson for Proactive skin care.

TWI Interactive and NBC Universal have worked together to design, develop and produce a new Web environment -- "America's Dog Show" -- where people from all over the country can submit videos of their own dogs in a popular competition.  The site www.dogshowusa.com allows visitors to enter their dog to be America's top pooch as well as compare him/her against the Best in Breed and Best in Group from the Purina National Dog Show that aired Thanksgiving on NBC.   TWI Interactive shot and edited over 200 clips for the Web from that National Show, all of which can be viewed on the site.

IMG Olympic skating clients Jeffrey Buttle and Mao Asada won the Trophee Eric Bompard in Paris to qualify for the Grand Prix Final in Tokyo on December 16 - 18 that will air on ESPN.

Congratulations to IMG Olympic client Kristi Yamaguchi and her husband, Bret Hedican, who welcomed their new daughter, Emma Yoshiko Hedican, on November 17.  Kristi, a Gold Medalist at the 1992 Albertville Winter Games and winner of back-to-back world titles in 1991 and 1992 as well as a long-time performer with Stars on Ice, was also inducted into the Olympic Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2006.

IMG Olympic clients Daron Rahlves won the World Cup Downhill in Beaver Creek and Lindsey Kildow won the World Cup Downhill in Lake Louise.

As part of its global growth initiative, IMG Fashion has announced Lakme Fashion Week with leading Indian cosmetic manufacturer Lakme Lever.  The event, to be held from 28 March to
1 April 2006 in Mumbai, India, is the newest event in the company's growing fashion event portfolio (which now includes Olympus Fashion Week in New York, Mercedes-Benz Australia Fashion Week in Melbourne and Sydney and a number of other international events).  Lakme Fashion Week will represent the best Indian designers and showcase them to the international fashion industry.

IMG Tourism has been retained by World Cup Barbados Ltd., the local company responsible for rebuilding the Kensington Oval Stadium for the Cricket World Cup in Barbados 2007.  IMG will consult on the development of a business plan and how to integrate the stadium into the tourism product post-2007.  IMG Tourism will collaborate with IMG Stadiums and Arenas on the project.

IMG Tourism was retained by the Irish Tourist Board and has delivered a �Strategic Action Plan for the Marketing of Golf Tourism in Ireland 2006-2010,� post the hosting of the Ryder Cup matches at Straffan, County Kildare in 2006.
 

IMG Golf client Morgan Pressel (age 17), 2005 US Amateur Champion and runner-up in the 2005 US Open, finished tied for 6th in the LPGA Qualifying School to earn her LPGA Tour card.

DLGA alumnus Julieta Granada (age 19) of Asuncion, Paraguay also earned her LPGA Tour card at the LPGA Final Qualifying School.  Granada trained at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy Bradenton for five years, graduating in 2005.  Some of her other accomplishments include: the AJGA Rolex Player of the Year in 2004 and 2004 U.S. Girls Junior Champion.

Also joining the LPGA Tour is DLGA alumnus Virada Nirapathpongporn (age 23).  Nirapathpongporn automatically qualified for the LPGA Tour by finishing in the top 5 on the Money List for the Ladies Futures Tour.  She trained at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy for three years.  Granada and Nirapathpongporn bring the total number of DLGA Bradenton alumni on the LPGA Tour to seven, joining Paula Creamer, Aree Song, Miriam Nagl, Candy Hannemann and Naree Song, who has non-exempt status.

Last month, IMG Arts & Entertainment Division inaugurated the Natural History Museum Ice Rink & Christmas Fair.  The Museum is one of London's iconic buildings and most popular visitor attractions and the event will run until the end of January.  Since the launch, the public and press response has been phenomenal, with first year ticket sales expected to top 100,000.  Due to the response, the event could become an annual winter attraction for London.
