London, 24 November 2005:- TWI has appointed Andrew Gould as Head of Graphics at mediahouse, its state-of-the-art video and audio post production facility. Andrew Gould joins from Blue Gfx, where he was Head of Animation. For the past 15 years he has been involved in the broadcast animation and effects industry, and was previously Head of 3d at Freehand. At mediahouse, Andrew will head a team of six designers in the Chiswick-based Graphics & DVD department, reporting directly to Dave Shield, TWI�s Head of Engineering & Operations. mediahouse Graphics have just produced their first HD title sequence for the West Asian Games 2005, which take place next month (Dec) in Doha, Qatar.(TWI, the world�s largest independent producer and distributor of sports programming, are host broadcaster.) Other recent projects include, FIFA Futbol Mundial, UKTV Sport, , Chef v Britain, Victory in Europe in Colour, and the Nobel Prize Awards. DVD projects include the BAFTA-Award winning Britain at War in Colour, Manchester United�s Play Like Champions, and Adolf Hitler in Colour. Andrew Gould also previously worked on several projects with TWI, including Trans World Sport, BBC Snooker, and the Premier League.
